Students can be nominated in their junior year for scholarships at certain Colleges and Universities across South Carolina. If accepted as a junior scholar, students can receive financial scholarships and waived application fees. Scholarships vary by college and range from $1,000 per year to $20,000.

You must be nominated by your school counselor in your Junior year of high school to be considered a Junior Scholar

Columbia College	Rank in top 25% of females in junior class PSAT or SAT-1020
Converse College	SC UGP GPA-3.0 Participation in extracurricular, community, and/or service activities
Erskine Fellows	Rank in top 15% of junior class PSAT-1100 Participation in extracurricular, community, and/or service activities
Francis Marion University	Award given to a top junior student
Furman University	PSAT or SAT-1360 SC UGP GPA-3.5 Interest in pursuing a degree in the liberal arts and sciences
Lander Fellows	Rank in the top 20% of junior class PSAT-1200 Interest in pursuing a degree in the liberal arts and sciences
Newberry College Scholars	Rank in the top 30% of junior class PSAT-1100 SC UGP GPA-3.0
Presbyterian College	Rank in the top 10% of junior class PSAT-1100
USC-Aiken	Rank in the top 15% of junior class PSAT-1050 Participation in at least two extracurricular activities
USC-Upstate	SC UGP GPA-3.0 PSAT-1000 Participation in extracurricular, community, and service activities
Wofford Scholars	Rank in the top 10% of junior class PSAT or SAT 1300 Active in leadership or service roles
